After an attack in London at the hand of body snatching monsters called "The Evangelists", a group of college students bunker down in a house and try and survive, a year and a half later one of the members of the group is murdered in the middle of the night, the group gradually descends into depression, insanity and people's true natures are revealed.

After a funeral, Mile's finds himself having a conversation with a blissfully ignorant girl and a man who has a healthy outlook on life, the two of them try and help him fix his pessimistic ways.
