After the loss of their mother, Maxine and Xavier's father becomes very distant and neglectful to his family. This causes Maxine to start acting out and serious alarm bells go off when her brother and older sister spot her black eye.

Esme pretends to fall for the man responsible for the loss of her sister in an attempt to take revenge on his family at their upcoming reunion. But this plan takes a grisly turn for the worse as Esme discovers the family's darkest secrets.
