It is the dawn of the Third World War and three women find themselves in a dangerous world as they trek across the Central Valley of California in the wake of a nuclear blast that has destroyed San Francisco.

Since 1981 Lisa Harris has run Video Library in Santa Fe, New Mexico. For over 40 years the small shop has been loaning films on VHS, DVD, and Blu-Ray to Santa Fe residents, even as the rise of streaming services overtook the video rental industry. Now the oldest remaining video rental store in the world, Video Library has no plans to close shop any time soon.
