From a distant island, Julia and her mother move into the same residence as the solitary Sam. But Julia has trouble fitting in among her new neighbours at the Mouse Mansion, especially since the social leader of the bunch, Ella, doesn’t seem to like her much. When toys are starting to go missing, including Ella’s new scooter, everyone believes that the mysterious fairy from grandma Molette’s story is to blame, but Ella points a finger at Julia. To prove her wrong and uncover the mystery, she and Sam slowly begin to gather clues and friends along the way. As they unravel the mystery using Sam’s resourcefulness and Julia’s remarkable instinct, she starts to find her place within the residence.
