On the eve of Easter, an icon depicting the Ethiopian Mother of God enters a Ukrainian village. After the icon is noticed by regular parishioners, a conflict begins between the young priest and his flock. Peasants do not agree to have a dark-skinned Mother of God in the church. One night someone makes his way to the church and cuts the icon. After the night events, the icon begins to pour myrrh.

A Ukrainian town has just been occupied by pro-Russian military forces. A bank clerk is going to take credit money from those who won’t give it without a fight.

Dmytro is a lifeguard in the Kyiv beach patrol. In addition to carrying out his duties such as saving drowning people, he has to find a way to communicate with a mute to whom a stranger has left his belongings and has gone missing, with teenagers who like to jump off bridges, with the mayor who has come to take a look at the new jet skis. Will Dmytro be able to save everyone and reduce the tragic drowning statistics on Kyiv's beaches?

We are used to hearing stories about «vacations by the sea», «bike rides», and «sports victories». But what will teenagers in modern Ukraine tell us? Will their lives look somehow different? Or is even the war unable to cancel their youth and passion for life, emotions, and adventures?
