When a rude patron knocks into him, Gary decides to commit a transgression, resulting in a chase. Although he manages to escape the angry shopper, ultimately Gary cannot outrun his own psychosis.

Video editor Nate is up late working on an ad for a bizarre virtual-reality company. As he gets further consumed by the parallel world of the video, lines between reality and virtual-reality blur, vanishing completely- to a horrifying end.

Lately, things aren't going well for our hero, Jenny. Recently fired, she finds herself joining a cult after encountering them on the train platform. She also tries therapy, but finds needed care and meaning from her fellow cult members.
