"The Voyager" is an animation short film about a pianist living in a big metropolis, who suffers from agoraphobia (irrational fear of leaving home/public places) and is confronted with a need to go outside, to replenish his medications.

Apes, humans, cyborgs. The physicality of the human has regressed, with the avatar now taking over his image. The machine is today the subject and the human its object. A Imagem por Vir (The Image to Come) takes pieces of Vinícius Lopes’ paintings by storm, continuing them, seeing what lies ahead of a world painted by an author who didn’t even exist yet. Perhaps the authors no longer exist.

Born from hard work and isolation, the community of Culatra rose through political struggles for the right to a dignified future. Only thirty years after bringing electricity to the island, the film immerses itself in the daily lives of those who still claim the sea as their destiny. Following a year in the life of the community, we discover what truly keeps these people united.
