Set in the mythical world of Rhymeland, Gordon Goose returns home to discover that his mom has mysteriously vanished. Now the characters of Rhymeland are in danger of disappearing unless Mother Goose returns.

When Nancy and her teenage son move to Deerview, the small, old-fashioned community will never be the same. Nancy soon realizes she is the only woman in town who would rather crack a joke than an egg. But the town gets their biggest laugh when Nancy organizes a mother-son football game with the unathletic housewives.

Little Gloria is the worst witch-in-training ever to attend Madame Pestilence's Academy of Young Goblins and Witches. All the other students are busy learning their wicked magic spells and practicing flying broom drills, but Gloria can't seem to get it right. She's always getting in trouble for smiling too much and muddling her magic! But when Gloria hears about a wonderful holiday called Christmas from an enchanting storyteller, she is determined to become a Christmas Witch. First, however, she must prove herself worthy by ending the long and bitter feud between the Pepperwills and Valdoons. It won't be easy, but with the help of her newly found Christmas friends and a lot of love and generosity, Gloria is determined to bring peace and the spirit of Christmas to their planet.. even if Madame Pestilence tries to stop her.

The film documents the lives of several Passabe residents five years after the violence, including the life of one admitted former militia member, and chronicles the ways in which the community has come to terms with what happened, after it was the site of a massacre of East Timor by pro-Indonesia militias in the follow-up to the 1999 referendum for East Timor's independence.
