The well-known and respected actor Adam has a sudden and widespread stroke. He loses his health and the tool necessary for the performance of his profession - speech. Despite the hopeless diagnosis, Agnieszka, Adam's wife, fights with stubbornness and determination for his recovery and his return to the stage.

Natalka is a bright nine-year old narrator of this Silesian story. She lives with her family in the little village of Nieboczowy, which in fact disappeared in 2020 – all the residents were resettled as the area was to be used as a construction site for a retention reservoir.
