Julia, who is 7, thinks she came to Łódź on holiday only, but in fact she lives with her family imprisoned in the ghetto. Her grandfather tries to explain the world to her comparing it to the story of Minotaur. A subtle combination of dramatic World War II events with Greek mythology.

The 1920s, Gonâve, a small Haitian island in the Caribbean Sea. The invasion of colonial investment is progressing. A former miner of Polish descent - Faustin Wirkus - the administrator of the island, befriends its inhabitants. Named king by the local community, he tries to help the island. However, his plan to publicize the situation on Gonâve brings unexpected results. The film is inspired by the true story of Faustin Wirkus.

Nabu's carefree childhood is interrupted by bombs falling on her home village. She tries to escape with his younger brother from burning houses, violence and screaming. Unfortunately, soon her only companion is a plush mascot.

A young man walks through a paradise garden with lush vegetation and classical sculptures. With each step, the boy becomes more and more enchanted by the nature surrounding him, but suddenly he falls into a dark hole.
