At the center of the story are five completely different men who meet in the waiting room of a maternity hospital on one of the most important days of their lives. While their wives are giving birth, future fathers have time to argue, quarrel, share personal fears and create their own “Fathers’ Club.”

An inventive thirteen-year-old girl sets off on a journey across Russia to find her dad and fulfill her grandfather's dream - to show him the northern lights. Along the way, they will meet an unsuccessful actor traveling around the country in search of that very "role", an outrageous grandmother with an acute lack of communication and other unusual characters. The girl will help each of her new acquaintances believe in themselves and take a step towards their dream.

The routine life of the eleventh "B" of the capital's school ends abruptly with the arrival of the new girl Sonya, who turns out to be completely different from her classmates. They will fight for her attention, they will be afraid of her sincerity, and with her... they will not want to be on the same side?
