Spring reveals the secrets buried under the Sapenay pass, overlooking Lake Annecy. As the snow melts, a hiker discovers in a cave the body of a woman, killed by a bullet through the heart. Near this still anonymous victim, two other bodies, men, lie under the snow, frozen for years.

The discovery of a man’s body in the shower cabin of local baths plunges the establishment into astonishment. Without identity papers and unknown to the registers, the victim can only be identified through his fingerprints.
