Takumi, a man who is unpopular with women and hasn’t had a girlfriend for 23 years, happens to walk into a café one day and falls in love at first sight with Erica, a waitress. However, she is suffering from domestic violence from her boyfriend, Ryo. Takumi tries to help her, but their relationship becomes entangled with the presence of Takumi's sister, Yuka, a waitress at the café where he works part-time, and Ryo's brother, Toru.

Saya who came to Tokyo after being traumatized by an incident eight years ago. She learns that the man involved in the case has been engaged to her sister and returns home without being able to stand. Saya's radical words and deeds involve the people around him and reveal their hidden humanity.

When sixth-grader movie lover Yota finds out a girl in his class he is interested in, Asuka, will be moving soon, he decides that he wants create a movie and make her the heroine. Only one issue: he has no friends to help him. After consulting with his brother and teachers, Yota comes together with five classmates as they make use smartphones and social media to create a movie.
