Isolated on a remote island for over a decade at their patriarch's command, a family's unity is challenged when his wife yearns to return to the outside world.

A remote, and a bit crazy to be honest, psychiatric hospital receives a curious patient —one who he doesn’t move nor speak but spends his days standing with his hands up. The only thing known is his nickname — “The Atlas”. In a word, he is a riddle and riveting one at that, like an itch you cannot quite scratch. Theories and informed-and-fact-based-gossip flourish all around the place. As luck would have it, so does the conflict as what to do with him. The situation is close to exploding, but the Atlas won’t stir. Or will he?

After twenty years in prison, a man returns to his homeland to wait for death in peace. His world is completely changed when he accidentally meets a character from the magical world of nature.

Mateusz, a Polish Border Guard, takes part in an operation to push migrants camping in a border forest back to Belarus. Among them is a family with children who claim to have lost important belongings. Returning to the site the next day, Mateusz finds their bag containing a phone number, which he impulsively calls. Over the next days, he receives unsettling messages and wrestles with what to do with the items in his possession. A story about the nature of forgetting in the European borderlands.
