With their father in a coma, nurse Seon-young urges her brother Il-hoe, who cannot afford his son's tuition and risks seeing him miss college, to stage a fake funeral. They forge a death certificate and deceive the hospital, but as pressure builds, their plan begins to unravel in unexpected ways.

Hyun-jae, a 16-year-old escaping her abusive father, manipulates Hae-in, a woman searching for her missing daughter, into taking her in as a replacement. Over the summer, Hyun-jae bonds with Hae-in, finding peace through her love for singing, but becomes obsessed with becoming Hae-in's new daughter. When Hae-in learns her missing daughter may have been found, Hyun-jae, despite her fears, makes a selfless decision to accompany her, realizing she can't replace Yun-seul.

Despite the village's perfection, why do they not come back? Unable to suppress her curiosity, Daisy follows the pilgrims and wanders the 'Origin'. Sophie, still living peacefully in the village, recovers forgotten memories of Daisy and contemplates why Daisy headed to the Origin. The restoration of humanity begins with awareness. In an era where advanced science suppresses individuality and commodifies humans, ironically, recognizing flaws and differences is essential to embody empathy and love. The children who leave the given peace to choose active lives will often suffer, but will feel happiness more often.
