Magikon (GR)

It is a movie following the coming-of-age for a boy; the story begins in the mid-60s, continues all through the 70s, and finishes in 1981. He is a creative young man facing the troubles of the first pangs of love and we observe the way he tries to handle them within his social surroundings, his family, and environment.

Heimlich is homely. Paris lives in an unhomely home. Serena wants a home, in a place you wouldn’t exactly call Paris. They drink. They talk. They merge. In water, beer and memory. A frog leaps. Strange. Stranger. Unhomely. Unheimlich. Stranger than home.

A young man enters a subway station, which is filled with posters and advertisements of beautiful men and women. Descending the stairs, he is plunged into a world he cannot control and finds himself on a strange path that leads to a chase through empty carriages, full of whispers and shadows in half-lit stations.
