Director Kyle Provencio Reingold moves beyond the public mythology of the artist to reveal the quieter spaces between Betye Saar's remarkable career and personal realm, in moments of reflection on her life as an artist, mother, grandmother, and gatherer of objects. Connecting recent works with archival reflections, the films seeks to experience the world as Betye did, where history resides in everyday objects, spirituality emerges through careful observation, and storytelling becomes an act of preservation.

Zheng Bo developed the eight-part practice seen in this video to exchange qi, or energy-matter, with the world around us. The movements derive from traditional exercises intended to activate the qi within the human body. Zheng Bo, however, encourages practitioners simultaneously to inhale the fragrances of the surrounding landscape. In so doing, energy-matter begins to flow cyclically among water, earth, plants, and humans.
