La moucharde stars Dany Carrel as a young miss who loves neither wisely nor well. Duped into a life of crime, Carrel remains on the wrong side of the Law because she's hopelessly in love with a two-bit crook. Soon she becomes as jaded and hardened as her criminal cohorts. When the police threaten to throw her in the Bastille, Carrel agrees to turn informer, with the expected disastrous results.

Set between Christmas and New Year, the film told the story of six criminals who kidnap an ambassador's daughter and await the ransom; enter Monsieur Wens, who infiltrates their hideout using various comic disguises, bumps them off one by one and rescues the little girl.

Toussaint has stopped his burglaries and lives in Toulon with his wife Assunta who runs a bar called L'île de Beauté. The adaptation of a french novel from 1864 describes the idyllic life of a convinced bachelor, Fritz Kobus, in a village in Alsace. With help by the local rabbi, he does get married to young Suzel in the end.

Marinette, the wife of Mario, a sympathetic hobo, is disgusted with the farm and runs off to Paris without husband or child. The tenacious husband sets off in pursuit, accompanied by the baby and a cow that's a bit cumbersome. The unfaithful woman wanted to become a star. Mario and his crew go from music hall to nightclub until finally, a classified ad brings back a repentant Marinette, just in time to prevent Mario from running off with a prostitute, herself eager for a change of scene.

Crainquebille, merchant of four seasons, is sentenced to fifteen days in prison for having insulted a police officer. When he leaves, his clientele moves away from him and Crainquebille thinks of suicide, when the affection of a kid from Montmartre makes him change his mind.

A local man raised two boys. One is his son and the other is that of a rich industrialist, to get the bonus to the unhappy father, he gives his own son a lazy scoundrel, to the tearful father and decides to keep the other boy, but the truth does not soon to burst.
