Summer of 2000. A young boy arrives at his grandparents’ home in a seaside village. Keeping him company during his carefree summer days, is the mysterious “witch”, a self-isolated elderly woman living in an old house on the beach. When one day the woman is no longer there, the boy will turn his gaze to the setting sun for the first time.

26th of September 1999. Alekos is dead. His teenage granddaughter, Margarita, refuses to attend his funeral and takes advantage of her parents’ absence to throw a small party at home. Three days earlier, unaware that this would be his last night, Alekos attends a reunion of old friends to celebrate the birthday of Lula, his first love, who now suffers from dementia.

Summer in a small Greek island. Amelia discovers her mother's illicit affair, refusing to believe what she saw. She will run away from home with Epaminondas, her first love. They will live an adventure, testing themselves and whoever they encounter along their way, ending up at the end of the night as children again in the hands of their parents.

In a remote village near the Greek-Albanian borders, an exiled father becomes obsessed with a young woman's murder.
