Conservative upper-middle-class Mexican society doesn't just shape us into rigid gender roles; it recruits us as enforcers of those roles too, compelling us to monitor and regulate one another. Shot over a decade, this is one of the most comprehensive and candid explorations of what it means to transition, revealing the intertwined power dynamics between class, gender and systemic violence in Mexican society.
