Bautista always gets scolded for his mischief, but he manages to get out of trouble. His mom believes only half of what he says. Every day, she asks him to go buy something for cooking from the store a few blocks away. Bautista loves to ride his bike and explore his neighborhood, greeting his neighbors. There is only one thing he is afraid of: the old man by the stream. He doesn’t know if he really exists or if it’s just a story his mother made up to scare him, but just in case, he never goes near there. Octavio and Camilo are two teenagers living in a working-class neighborhood of Quilmes, and they don’t know how to solve their problems. Despite their families’ efforts to help them, they resort to stealing and have substance abuse issues. Camilo dreams of being a musician but doesn’t have the money to pay for classes or buy instruments. Octavio likes to help people in his neighborhood who are in need. One day, Octavio steals a cell phone, gets caught, and runs away from the police. On his way, he runs into his friend. A dead-end street leading to Las Piedras Stream unexpectedly takes them to a place that might change everything
