Whilst dreaming, a little boy in the company of Tijl (Uilenspiegel?) travels centuries back to the fairytale world with the help of two balloons.

When a father is in a coma after having been involved in a car crash his family is starting to have financial problems. It is an educational film, released with the aim of promoting the use of Dutch as the standard language in Flemish families.

A class of thirteen-year-old danglers persuades the school administration to start speaking proper civilised Dutch. This takes place at a boarding school with a conflict situation between a young, idealistic and a brutal teacher.
