As she gets older, Oma’s perception begins to change. While her daughter tries to adapt to her new situation, she seems to sink deeper and deeper into herself.

Joko is a young man who works on the cistern, he is the only breadwinner in a family. On his second anniversary of employment, Joko and his colleagues meet with foreign delegates who force boy and the rest to… carry on their back. At first, Joko is against and rebels against this humiliating activity. However, under the pressure and desire to earn good money, he subsides.

War for our attention has suddenly become an actual war. Information technologies appear not just as mere means for somebody’s ends but as something having their agency, as one of the acting forces rendering possible a horrific event, which is very hard to accept and almost impossible to comprehend. We have no control over it and are doomed to scroll through the newsfeed.

A tender and visually imaginative story about how children process tension and seek emotional balance in a world shaped by adult emotions.

However permanent and stable any order may seem, it may eventually crumble when reality outside of the system creeps in, growing like organic matter through the boundaries that the order has imposed. An animated odyssey.

A film about the inability to make a decision. A world filled with possibilities and a lost heroine who may not want to choose at all.

For little children, the world is full of mystery and unknown. They need the help of a wise companion to navigate the challenges of every-day life. Or maybe it’s their awe and wonder at everything new that fills the everyday life with magic (and nonsense) for the adults around them?
