Troubled writer, Vincent, escapes to an isolated retreat, determined to complete his first novel. However, his solitude is short lived as a dark force suddenly encroaches and Vincent becomes immersed in a violent and cathartic awakening.

Eager to leave his tumultuous past far behind, controversial author Vincent Tremblay, now lives a simple life, off-grid, in the Australian bush, alongside his close mate, veteran outbacker, Gunther. However, the men's tranquility is suddenly shattered, following a dark discovery in a nearby dam.
