Ebba is a lonely 18-year-old who finds a wounded man in the Oslo harbour. When she discovers he has amnesia, she lies and tells him they are lovers.

Claude, a professional medium, receives clients in her office/apartment. With the voices of the dead pestering her at all hours, she's on the verge of burn-out. She leaves to rest in a château in the southern French countryside. But her guests and new haunting phenomena disrupt her retreat.

Ondine lost her Corsican grandmother when she was a child. Since then, the memory has faded. Through a memory quest combining cooking recipes and artificial intelligence, Ondine sets out in the footsteps of her ancestor, bringing her "digitally back to life" through a few rare photos that remain. A posthumous goodbye that could not have taken place.
