In 1941, a young Russian passionate about painting, Vladimir Kibalchich Rusakov, arrived in Mexico alongside his father, the revolutionary poet and writer Victor Serge. The testimonies reconstruct the living memory of the artist and explore his work, revealing his passion for the Renaissance tradition, his encounter with Mexican muralism, his involvement with the Ruptura movement, and his ongoing dialogue with his father.

In an industrial town in Mexico near the US border, hundreds of women have been sexually abused and murdered. As the body count continues to rise, a web of corruption unfolds that reaches the highest levels of Mexican society.
