A wedding in the interior of Rio Grande, 1930. Among the guests, a lover of the bride, accompanied by his pregnant wife. Amid the joy of the party, the lovers decide to run away. So, the groom gathers a group of friends and sets out to seek revenge.

Porto Alegre anxiously awaits the passage of the German airship towards Montevideo. Júlio, an accountant, finds a way not to take his wife Mariana, a seamstress, who stays at home, sad. But while Júlio and his lover Leda see very little of Zeppelin, Mariana, at home, indulges in an overwhelming passion.
