While an entire country is focused on the 1990 World Cup in Italy, someone takes advantage of Argentina's matches to commit brutal murders.

During the World Cup final between Argentina and Holland, in times of military dictatorship, a group of torturers kidnap a group of young people. What begins as an inhumane interrogation turns into hell: the wrong group has been kidnapped.

Buenos Aires, late 1980s. Malena lives a double life: by night, she dances in a cabaret; by day, she answers calls for a phone sex hotline. As the city reels from a string of brutal murders splashed across radio and television broadcasts, fear begins to seep into everyday life.
