Painfully close, raw and truthful: SOMEHOW takes us on Alex' run from himself; from his almost forgotten childhood trauma. "Don't become like my father" - a credo that will drive him beyond the borders of the continent, but also to the edge of reason. A mysterious woman jumps in his car at a gas station. She becomes his nonjudgemental companion. A turbulent journey through Europe starts: drugs, ecstasy, loose contacts, foreign places - they experience a surreal time in a state of intoxication, in the middle of nowhere.

Where is Amel? Where did she go? When did she leave and why? Coming back from a long journey, Thomas realizes that his girlfriend disappeared without any trace. No message was left and also her friends are clueless. On his search for answers, he meets a strange detective that points him in the right direction. Thomas has to complete a crazy run from Germany to Paris. A wild journey through his own emotions starts. Will he find Amel?

Karl wants to start over. After he is released from prison, his only wish is to go underground and put his past behind him. However, his former companion Arnold puts a spoke in his wheel. He wants the money back that Karl stole from him before he was caught. At first Karl is not very impressed, but when Arnold uses Sarah, an important person in Karl's life, as a bargaining chip, Karl is forced to act.
