Two marines stationed in the Chinese port of Hang Chow decide to swear off women and join the lighthouse patrol.

Bill and Oscar are musicians but they can't make enough to pay their room-and-board, and they are both in love with the landlady's daughter. However, she is in love with Horace, a wrestler, and Bill gets a world's championship match with him in hopes of securing the needed-boardinghouse bill, and the hand of the daughter of the house.

Billy sends his wife some silk pajamas to mollify her, but they're sent to Mrs. Dent by mistake. Billy innocently trying to be helpful is almost caught in the wrong apartment, but a card that accompanied the silkies will fall into the wrong hands.

Lloyd, Marjorie and Dorothy work in a department store, he in the toy section and the gals sell music sheets. He's got eyes for Marjorie, but she feels she can do better, and takes up an offer to go with a rich playboy to his estate for a weekend party. Suspicious Lloyd follows, disguised as a butler, wearing his old "Ham" mustache.

Billy Bevan and Andy Clyde play hobos who hop onto a train where they are hired. Their misadventures lead to chaos, blending mistaken identity with classic physical comedy.

"Strange Birds" is a documentary short made by Mack Sennett for Educational Pictures. It's unusual in that they used an early form of color, 'Sennett Color', a two-color process typical of the era (similar to Cinecolor and Two-Color Technicolor). As far as the film goes, it consists of three folks looking at birds at the newly opened California Aviaries Bird Park on Catalina Island.

Dance instructor Arthur Stone's wife, Gertrude Astor, is a jealous woman. Patsy O'Leary's husband, Wade Boteler, is a jealous man. Boteler goes out to play poker every night, so Miss O'Leary phones Stone for a private dance lesson at her apartment. When there's a knock at the door, Stone goes out the window and enters an apartment, where Boteler is playing poker.

Andy Clyde is in desperate need of a vacation, and it's not exactly helping the stress.

Bing and a buddy drive to the college town where Bing's penpal, a billboard model, goes to school. Little does he know he's being pranked by one of her male classmates.

A bride and groom are all set to get married, but they can't until the best man shows up. When the best man eventually does show up, he causes a few problems since he ran through some tar just before entering the church. The groom doesn't seem to mind too much, just as long as the best man brought the ring, which he did. But as the wedding proceeds, that sticky tar just can't help but get the best man into one disastrous incident after another, including with the ring. That havoc, which leads into the reception, the wedding night and the honeymoon send off, may end the marriage even before it begins... or at least the couple's friendship with their best man.

Chester Winfield tries to make it as a lumberjack, but he's foiled by his lack of strength and the jealous foreman, Big Bill Reardon, after Chester catches the eye of Hazel Wood, Big Bill's favorite and the camp's waitress. Bill tries to eliminate Chester, so he and Hazel head down the mountain for other work. She waits tables and gets him a job as a dishwasher. He spills kerosene in the soup and then must serve it to an angry customer. Hazel tells a couple of tall tales about Chester, and soon all the customers, the owner, and the cook, think he's a desperado. They make him the saloon bouncer. Some trick shooting seals his reputation. Then Big Bill arrives for a showdown.

Sardonic commentary over an abridged version of DOWN ON THE FARM (1920).

All the qualified men line up to be chosen, as an heiress advertises that she will marry the man with the most interesting mustache, that marriage which comes with a mansion. John Syrup Soother wins the marriage to who he believes is the heiress, Olive Palmer, a tank of a woman who has lost her beauty with age. But he learns that he his betrothed is not the heiress, Diana Palmer, but her mother. Howson Lotts, a shyster and one of Diana's other suitors, sells John a beach-front house for his new life, that house which is not all that it seems on the surface. In the meantime, others still will do anything to be Diana's betrothed, that choice in which John now has a different but still vested interest.

A young married couple appears before a judge to get a divorce. The wife shows the judge some pictures of her husband with his arms around another woman, as "proof" that he was cheating on her. The husband, for his part, claims that he was just innocently helping the woman and that he was being blackmailed by the photographer who took the picture.

Casper is going on vacation with his wife and ugly baby (I'm sorry, but the kid IS really creepy looking) and after about five minutes of unfunny shenanigans, he arrives home and gets ready to take off for the country. However, unexpectedly, his rich uncle, his aunt and their destructive and stupid son arrive and invite themselves along for the trip. The trip is anything but relaxing.
