An elderly farmer stands up for his village when a Chinese construction company swoops in, and he finds an unexpected ally in a social media influencer.

Eva is helping her friend Marija move out after a breakup, quietly hiding the fact that she’s going through a similar emotional struggle, until the pressure overwhelms her, leading to a panic attack and a visit to the hospital.

In the film, a live audience, consisting of different ethnic and religious groups from the Balkans, in which a single narrator recites six stories about six significant historical events impacting the Balkans. Following each story, a real mixed martial arts fight occurs, shot and framed to reveal not only the violence humans are capable of, but also manifesting the poetry of movement, mutual respect and the very tangible intimacy of two human bodies struggling.

One of the world’s earliest female rock and roll bands was formed in Belgrade in the 1960s. In complex circumstances and times when “electrical” music was a nuisance to the “guardians of public morals” for spreading the rebellious spirit, teenage girls Doda, two Ljiljas and Nena founded VIS SANJALICE and conquered the music scene of Yugoslavia, on par with male bands.
