Oksuperdanke

On a seemingly endless day of summer, Noa is playing in the garden with friends in swim shorts. The play comes to an abrupt end as Noa gets a swimsuit.

In her native Iran, Faravaz was to be arrested because of her music. Today, she lives in Germany and employs her voice to fight for the rights of Iranian women. A fight also for her own survival. In powerful images, Faravaz remembers her childhood, the oranges in her garden and how she finally found her home in her own body.
