Corona shut everything down. Including Carnival. Filmmaker Frank van Osch from Den Bosch searches for the soul of this beautiful folk festival. Distinctive and seasoned carnival revelers talk about the deep-rooted spirit of the festival and the tears they shed when Carnival was canceled in 2021. The sadness of Carnival is about life, with laughter and tears, as reflected in Carnival, in the year it couldn't take place. This documentary is an ode to the most unique folk festival in the South.

SYNCHRONOUS is an intimate portrait of love and the reverse side of love: mourning. The granddaughter/maker looks idealistically at the endless love between her grandfather and grandmother. When her grandfather dies, she decides to look for answers by filming her grandmother. What happens when you've been together all your life and your great love dies? Where is the love then?

This documentary looks back on the making of the 1969 television series 'Floris'. It was the breakthrough for Paul Verhoeven and Rutger Hauer, who are interviewed in Hollywood. Other cast and crew-members revisits the filming locations after 30 years.
