A Recife society couple, while visiting a painting exhibition, recognizes, in a painting depicting a gypsy girl, their daughter, who had been kidnapped by gypsies as a child. The painter informs them that the girl is part of the Bentes Lemano gang. The parents go to the police, who arrest the gang, including Artur. Their identities are clarified. Despite her parents' opposition, the heroine ends up marrying Maurício.

A young woman, the daughter of a wealthy industrialist, and the young Rodolfo de Carvalho love each other intensely. The couple, along with other prominent figures in the Recife society, meet at the night gatherings of the Pernambuco Club. One night, a fierce fight breaks out between Rodolfo and a rival. Later, Rodolfo is wrongly convicted of a crime and is sentenced to serve time in Fernando de Noronha. However, he escapes from prison determined to seek revenge.

A film financed by the Medical School of Recife and directed by the physician Octavio de Freitas, showcasing the facilities of the new building, various laboratories, classes for practical and theoretical lessons, and the tribute to participants of the 5th Brazilian Congress of Hygiene.
