Nikita is a student from the Kharkiv region who lives in Kyiv with his boyfriend Serhiy. His relationship with his religious mother is hideous due to her adverse treatment of his son’s sexuality, which has led him to abandon his faith in God. Nikita quarrels with her on his birthday because she sent him his cross pendant and asked the son to return to “the right path”. The next day, on February 24th of 2022, the couple wakes up from explosions and news about the beginning of a full-scale war with russia. Nikita realizes he can’t reach his mother by phone anymore.

1997, suburb of Marseille. A young guy Theo, whose brother is facing 10 years in prison for drug trafficking, decides to buy him out of prison by selling a large consignment of drugs with his friend. At a sales meeting, Theo sets up his partner and escapes with money and drugs along with one of the buyers. The buyer soon turns out to be an undercover cop. Theo makes a fateful decision in the face of arrest.

Due to long-term observation of the NPCs (Non-Playable Characters) the player witnesses certain documentary events that take place in different parts of the in-game world. However, these events are permeated by common cross-cutting themes: excessive cruelty and human indifference. To some extent the constant movement (which also accompanies the player-observer throughout the in-game space) is the only salvation from arbitrariness on the streets, but not always.

Ruslan Martsinkiv is the mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk, one of the largest cities of Western Ukraine. He is supported by a record number of citizens, but in October 2020, when the city was at the center of the second wave of COVID-19, there was uncertainty about the implementation of a number of unclear solutions. Meanwhile, the election race began in which the incumbent mayor was taking part. This composition of ordeals, of which the mayor was at the forefront, blended into an eccentric time period.
