Chaar lugaai (चार लुगाई ) follows four women whose husbands work in distant cities, leaving them to find their own ways of dealing with loneliness and desire. Three of them try to get involved with the same young man from the village, while the fourth stands by them without judgment. But when the young man dies in an accident, their private lives suddenly become a serious problem. What starts as an attempt to protect themselves slowly turns into a tense game of lies as a police investigation begins closing in on them.
