An astronaut returns from a failed mission to Earth extinct from contamination. His condition of being the last of his kind torments him.

A young astronaut named Zena arrives on planet Earth and encounters someone who is actually Death. An uncomfortable relationship of tension and seduction ensues, as she questions why Death has not come to take her soul.
