HAQ - In 1980s India, Shazia Bano takes her husband to court after he abandons her and their children, sparking a national battle over faith, women’s rights, and justice. Inspired by the landmark Supreme court case of Ahmed Khan vs Shah Bano, HAQ is the story of one womans fight for her rights.

The film is a poignant father- son story set in Ujjain. Inspired by true life, it deals with the sensitivity of unemployment, the selfless love of a father, and the behaviour of a selfish son, with quirk and humour.
