Ayse who lost her husband and child during the occupation of Izmir by Greek Army in 1919 goes to Istanbul to attend demonstrations which are arranged against the occupation of Anatolia. And then she passes to Anatolia to be a nurse and meets with Ihsan there. At that time Turkish War of Independence starts and they participate to this battle together.

Osman falls in love with Türkan, the daughter of a wealthy family, but he cannot open his feelings to the young woman. During Osman's military service, his brother Ekrem becomes lovers with Türkan and gets engaged. Although Türkan really loves Ekrem, his plans are completely different.

Car mechanic Nazım Usta marries the woman he loves, Ayten. Ayten's sister Nezahat also has feelings for Nazım. Nezahat's plans mark the beginning of a crime story that will lead all three of them to ruin.

Factory owner Nurettin Bey plans to make a profit by buying up land in a neighborhood that is set to become an industrial zone at a low price. However, Ayhan, the nephew of Kadir Ağa, a resident of the neighborhood, explains the situation to the residents. Nurettin Bey's plans are thwarted. Nurettin Bey decides to send his daughters to the neighborhood to publicize the matter to the media. Nurettin Bey's daughters disagree: Hülya learns of her father's plans and grows closer to Ayhan. Selma, however, sides with her father and tries to win over Ayhan's cousin Turan. Turan testifies against Ayhan in exchange for the money offered to him. Ayhan is labeled a bribe-taker in the neighborhood. Uncovering the truth will be difficult.

The film tells the story of a love affair between two young people who hide their true identities. He pays for Sami's damages and learns that Sami lives in Telsizler. He then makes a plan and starts living in Telsizler with Sami. Nihat quickly becomes friends with the neighbors and will do everything in his power to convince his father to change his mind.

In 1959, a new comic actor, Feridun Karakaya starts a series with Cilali Ibo (Ibo, the Polished One) and becomes popular around the 1960s and 1970s. Cilalı ibo Teksas Fatihi (Cilali Ibo the Texas Conqueror) is a parody/pastiche of the Western genre, scripted by Osman F. Seden.

Turkan is tormented by thoughts of her turbulent family past that has been blighted by family rivalries and intrigues.
