Even thieves have a lobby! And they defend their clientele, especially since their very existence is at risk. The safety precautions in safes and in banks are becoming ever stricter, making the working conditions for burglars and thieving magpies more and more difficult. Therefore, the interest group of property reducers - VDEI for short - made representations to the responsible minister and confronted him with a warning strike, which is intended to make it clear what economic function thieves and burglars have in society. The strike calls everyone involved in property security onto the scene: burglars and interest groups for guns, guard dog breeders and tank crackers gather. After heated discussions, an agreement can finally be reached - but the consumer has to pay for it.

On a rainy vacation day in a hotel room in Yugoslavia, a 40-year-old father and his adolescent daughter are bored. In the free-flowing surroundings, the dreams he once had in his youth come back to life in him. The game becomes almost serious. Only the presence of his daughter makes him realize that there is no way to start a new life without acting irresponsibly towards his child. And so he is left with a quiet resignation and the hope that his daughter will do better one day.

Werner Herzog follows mountaineers Hans Kammerlander and Reinhold Messner during their expedition into climbing the Gasherbrum mountains, which has some of the most difficult peaks to be conquered, and they'll do it without the use of oxygen tanks. Herzog also takes some time to hear about their past experiences with other mountains, their personal tragedies and the reasons why they are so involved with such activity.

Krabat, a beggar boy, is lured to become an apprentice to an evil, one-eyed sorcerer. With a number of other boys, he works at the sorcerer's mill while learning black magic. In Munich 1955, German film star Veronika Voss becomes a drug addict at the mercy of corrupt Dr. Marianne Katz, who keeps her supplied with morphine. After meeting sports writer Robert Krohn, Veronika begins to dream of a return to stardom. As the couple's relationship escalates in intensity, Veronika begins seriously planning her return to the screen -- only to realize how debilitated she has become through her drug habit.

1964. Germany is divided into two states. On a fateful day, two trucks drive towards each other. One comes from the west and transports industrial goods to Berlin. The other comes from the east and has a far more explosive cargo: four people who can no longer bear the inhumane SED regime and want to escape to freedom in an armored vehicle. The occupants of the trucks are still unaware of each other, but fate is driving them inexorably towards each other. They meet at the Wartha border crossing. The East German border guards order the West German truck drivers Lindner and Bleicher to park their truck across the road to stop the fugitives.

Shortly before the end of the war in 1945, the Allies can already be heard in Nesselbühl in Swabia when three freight cars are uncoupled at the station. The screams of the starving concentration camp prisoners inside can be heard throughout the village, but nobody dares to help them. Only the innkeeper's daughter Anna takes heart...

The documentary follows Gene Scott, famous televangelist involved with constant fights against FCC, who tried to shut down his TV show during the 1970s and '80s, and even argues with his viewers, complaining about their lack of support by not sending enough money to keep going with the show.
