A new version of the fairy tale about a fisherman and a golden fish. This time, it is the Golden Fish that has three wishes, and the fisherman grants them. First, he allows himself to be turned into a fish, second, he swims with the Golden Fish into the depths of the sea, and third, he allows himself to be turned back into a human so that he can tell the story of his adventures. During his underwater journey, he meets many fish that resemble people he knows. The fish world and the human world turn out to be surprisingly similar. The film's charm lies in its sense of observation, fantasy, and humor, making it as much fun as it is a reflection on human nature.

Zanadrze is a world where quarrelsome inhabitants build their crooked houses upside down on different levels, run up endless stairs, and hammer a stake through Grandma. The inhabitants form Grandma's Funeral Procession. Zanadrze is located in the middle of the Black Coat, who, in memory, plays the saxophone in the rain in the middle of the road until he is run over by a speeding car.
