"Here Where It All Ends" is an experimental, poetic short film that moves between documentary and fiction to address an endangered culture, that of indigenous people in the Brazil. It is, in particular, a sharing of knowledge carried out in Aldeia Bugio, at all stages of 16mm filming, botanical development and sound capture in a collective way. It seeks to reactivate the memory of the origins of the Laklãnõ/Xokleng people.

The film was made in Detroit, the birthplace of the auto industry, an iconic city of American capitalism and which today is in deep decline.

Nature produces vision. The gaze, like a boat, wanders, guided by the leaves of the trees against the sky. The images of an easily observable commonality, which was once commonplace at first glance, make the journey an encounter with a nature that is both close and distant. A landscape in extinction, a wandering gaze in an increasingly unlikely act: seeing what moves around. Walden Street is a road movie suspended in time by how we look at screens.
