The bullet that hit me, turned my life upside down. 13 years later – I embark on a journey where I revisit old wounds, deal with the trauma and talk with my family for the first time about that evening and the secrets revealed in its wake.

A sixty-year-old widower living with dementia, clings to the handwritten notes he leaves for himself in order to make it through each new day. As his daughters pack up his home in preparation for his move to a care facility, The Father wanders through the fragments of his fading memories, struggling to understand why the people he loves seem to be slipping away from him. As the boundaries between memory and reality begin to dissolve, The Father finds himself repeatedly reunited with the imagined presence of his late wife, Michal. Through these encounters, he embarks on an intimate emotional journey that forces him to confront an impossible choice: whether to hold on to everything he has lost, or embrace the love that still surrounds him. In a rare moment of clarity, The Father and his daughters discover one final way to connect before the disease separates them forever.
