This film depicts the life of Saint John Bosco, who dedicated his life to rescuing abandoned and exploited street children in Turin.

The film covers the last year of Pier Giorgio Frassati life, son of the family that owned the newspaper La Stampa, who lived between 1901 and 1925 and was beatified in 1990.

Le Due Croci brings us the story of Blessed Titus Brandsma, a Dutch Carmelite friar, Catholic priest, journalist and professor of philosophy. Brandsma was vehemently opposed to Nazi ideology and died in the infamous Dachau concentration camp. He has been beatified as a Martyr of the Faith.
