Amlan, a middle-class photographer, is on the lookout for a photograph and finds it hard to get through the day until he captures a snapshot of himself in an unexpected companion.

Toshi, an 80-year-old woman living in her later stages of dementia, is haunted by an old half-written poem, one she doesn't recognise but is strangely drawn to. As her memory is triggered one last time, she flashes back and forth in time, beginning to piece it's meaning together.
