A comedy about how the world of politics really works! Tsutomu is a secretary for a member of the Japanese Parliament. After the latter suffers a heart attack, his daughter Yumi is chosen to fill his place in the next election because she seems easy to control. However, her unpredictable behavior soon throws the campaign out of control.

Fukuura Koharu works at a child welfare office and plunges into despair overnight. Then she meets Daigo, a private-practice doctor raising his 8-year-old daughter on his own. She resolves to build a happy household, but things don't go as expected.

Tachibana was once in the limelight as a nature photographer famous for a TV program following his adventure but forced into debts from his agency. Alone and without dreams, he abandons his camera and spends his life paying off the debts. But one day, from taking a photo of his mother's friend, his life with a camera starts moving again. Tachibana, now in 40s, starts a studio at a share residence and seeks for his resurrection.

On a rainy day, a tired man is standing in the kitchen. He is preparing a special curry to eat on his wife's birthday three days later. It is an important dish that has become an annual event. A "Goze" is a blind entertainer who travels to various places singing stories while playing the shamisen (Japanese three-stringed lute). Becoming a goze due to her blindness at seven-years-old, Haru was strictly trained with a parent's affection by her once kind mother, Tome.
