A Black Brazilian family in the city of Belo Horizonte, tries to rebuild their home after a recent loss. Caught between memories and nightmares, and unable to express what they feel to each other, a mother and her children shield themselves from the pain of grief through their individual routines. Only the youngest child understands the secret that the house holds within its four walls and tries to reveal it to the others, only to fall on deaf ears. Finally, confronted with the truth, they face the deep roots of their grief and come together to traverse this moment with love and courage.

Lourdes and Lana met telepathically using “sensory pills”, a technology that allows access to other people’s sensations from a distance. After months of relationship, Lourdes decides to visit the country house of her parents, Vicente and Carl, and introduce them to her girlfriend.

A contemporary reinterpretation of the tradition of pilgrimages in the Azores, historically carried out exclusively by men. In the film, a group of women make a pilgrimage to the island of Pico; along the way, one of them disappears, raising questions about their individual and collective existence as female bodies. These are bodies that literally walk to break the bubble of passivity, guided by action, ritual and resistance.

Searching for redemption, a mother and a daughter go beyond their limits to break free from their comfortable but suffocating lives. A narrative of hallucinogenic qualities, pierced by moments of clarity.

Mirene and André are a heterosexual couple struggling with infertility issues. Carl and Vicente are a homosexual couple undergoing an experimental procedure in order to have a biological child.
