The year 1991. A hot summer night. Lithuania-Belarus border. It is nearly dawn. There are two customs wagons on the roadside. One of them has been burnt down. In the other one, border guards sit in silence. Someone opens the door without knocking.

Empty deserted places in a foreign land. A couple travels south to find their lost connection at a mysterious relationship resort. While on the trip there, their car disappears.

Emilė always lives ten steps ahead: she knows how things should be. That doesn't help her on an awkward date - a poker party where everyone lives in the moment.

We follow Roberta's transition from youth to adulthood. It is an intimate portrait of a person who is floating in time and space, without finding purpose in life. She doesn't want to be bothered by society, but cannot deny that she's dependent on it.

The tale of the illegal immigrant merges with dancers journey from ballet to semantic dance while overcoming the violence of the imperially constructed art of ballet instilled within his body.
