1939, right before the beginning of the Second World War in Europe. Aleksandar Pingo, young, handsome lawyer from Veles, Macedonia, far on the south of the Balkans, lives his days as a bachelor.

2 August 1903, on a night of the revolution, Manoil, the only son of a bourgeois family decides to go to the battle. His father and his wife want to stop him!

Four women defy life's demands through their music. Making their voices heard is challenging in modern day Macedonia.
