Marco, a television journalist, reads "red lies" on his teletext system in order to gather material on the homosexual world for a story he's working on. Unfortunately, he is implicated in a series of murders in which the victims are all gay. Marco becomes a suspect and is forced to investigate the crimes himself in order to prove his innocence.

Enrico is 30 years old, unemployed, and spends his life between public competitions and his friends at the bar. But one day, Silvana, his beautiful girlfriend, suddenly leaves him without explanation. His life falls apart, and Enrico even attempts suicide, albeit half-heartedly. Elvira, a sweet girl who has also recently suffered a heartbreak, mends his broken heart. Everything seems to be fine when Silvana returns forcefully to the forefront. Enrico has no choice but to divide his time between the two. Martha, a beautiful foreigner with children, will take him far away, dragging him to Uruguay. But Silvana will always be in his heart.

At some point, somewhere in the relentless events of the Second World War: A submarine returns from a long, successful patrol. Shortly before their native coast, however, they are bombarded by enemy aircraft. The submarine sinks and for the men begins a fight for survival at 110 meters depth.

This drama's main asset is Charles Boyer as Pierre, a father out looking for his son one night. Pierre receives a call from a woman who says she will kill herself because of his son. Naturally disturbed at this news, Pierre takes off to find his son and avert disaster. Along the way, he picks up a malcontent, wealthy young woman who decides to stick with him and help him look for his son. After traveling through some of the worst aspects of Paris' demi-monde, Pierre begins to wonder if his son will ever be found. Meanwhile, the relationship with his newfound wealthy friend is heating up.

In an operation aimed at hitting the mafia, the Sicilian police hunt down several assassins to trace their bosses. The hunted, with the help of the mafia, try to escape from the island.
